STAGE1

Skate or die was a personal project I took on to produce a custom made skate deck that is full of bright and bold colour, I wanted to use the main image of a samurai warrior with a blade in one hand a skateboard in the other linking it to the brand name, with the two options. I hand drew the original sketch I wanted to make sure that it was in portrait and would be a good size to cover the deck.

STAGE 2: I adding the colour into the sketch using strong golds , blue and reds, and bring the warrior to life. then went onto to add typography and the background colour.
